Riding roads in Texas is the greatest experience that any motorcyclist can have. The terrain is so diverse and the landscape so beautiful, one doesn't have to ride far for a complete change in scenery.
Roads in Texas have their own flavor and are ridden because they possess something that the rider likes. Favorite roads are chosen for various reasons. Maybe they possess a certain number of "twisties", or "switchbacks". Or maybe they are just fun to ride during certain seasons of the year.
Whatever the reason, I encourage all motorcycle riders to get out and ride. Find the road that suits you and your riding style best. Let that special road take you into a dream world that features sunny days with gentle breezes.
With that in mind, I decided to come up with my own Top Ten Texas Roads Listing. Having ridden all Texas Top Ten Listings, Texas members of the Honda Sport Touring Association Top Ten and the
Ride Texas Magazine Top Ten Listing, I found that not all the roads on those lists suit my taste. So, here's my Top Ten Texas Roads:

8.) FM 390 from Burton to Independence
9.) TX 224 north from Cold Spring
10.) TX 170 from Lajitas to Presidio.
